The Richmond YMCA offers a variety of options for childcare.
Y-Care – After School Care
The Y-Care program provides a safe, caring, fun and educational atmosphere. Children are assisted in developing self-esteem, learning cooperative skills and are asked to practice the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Our program is aligned with the school day and supports students’ learning. We focus on addressing the needs of individual students by offering tutoring support and reinforce learning that takes place in the classroom in new and exciting ways.

Summer Y-Care (All Day Care)
Summer is upon us, and we are back and ready to offer your kiddos a fun, and action-packed summer! Summer will run June 5th through July 28th this summer. We are so very excited to see all of the kids again!

Summer Registration (Returning)
*ALL children will be required to have a packet filled out and on file with the Richmond YMCA. If you were/are currently enrolled in any after school or all-day programs for the Richmond Y-Care, we need only to have you fill out the Registration/EFT packet. If you have not attended this year or are new to us, you will need to complete a full registration packet and provide a current immunization record for EVERY child in order to attend.
Y-Watch – Child Watch
When parents come to the Y for a class, group activity or workout, their kids need a safe, enriching environment where they can build healthy, trusting relationships with other kids and adults. At Y-Watch, children play under the supervision of caring, trained Y Staff. At the same time, their parents are able to relax, connect with other Y members and enjoy healthy activities at the Y.
Y-Watch is available free of charge to children whose parents are family members of the Y. Parents may leave their children at Y-Watch for a maximum of two hours per day and must be in the Richmond Family YMCA facility while their children are in our care.
